St. George’s Harvest Supper
Over 85 people, aged from less than a year old to their late 90’s, enjoyed a relaxing Harvest Supper in a beautifully decorated St. George’s Church.
The Modbury Gospel Singers entertained at the start, with their harmonious voices filling the church. Later in the evening the vicar, Matthew Rowland, lead an informative interview-style talk with Chris Murray from Pennywell Farm.
Over £500 was raised for the work of the Shekinah Mission in Plymouth and gifted produce over the Harvest Festival weekend will be shared shared between the Salvation Army, Shekinah Mission and the Plymouth Woman’s Refuge.
A most enjoyable evening was had by all – many thanks to everyone who worked hard to make the Supper and service so successful and to everyone who came to these events.
